Abstract

The research aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses in communication skills and decision-making among managers of the Faculty of Physical Education - University of Baghdad from the perspective of staff and faculty members. May be the research community to all employees (faculty and staff) all in the Faculty of Physical Education - Baghdad University for the academic year 2012-2013 and totaling 208 faculty members and 123 staff members, has been selected a random sample of members of the faculty's (100 ) and employees (50) and distributed them to identify the study and collecting them (75) The identification of the faculty and (40) of the staff, and ruled out (35) to identify the lack of validity. After having identified researcher concept of decision-making, communication and After reviewing the literature and previous studies and scientific sources relevant and meet a group of specialists administering sports and dialoguing in determining the search form, the researcher to prepare the form and containing the (50) paragraph as primary and the number of areas (2), It was presented to the experts to find out their views about the validity and identify areas paragraphs of the resolution, having been approved and agree on areas (40) and paragraph-by agreement (75%). The researcher concluded the most important findings are: that members of the research sample tend to employ systems and communication technologies contributes to the speed performance of the tasks in the decision-making and reduce the time and effort needed to complete the administrative work, and also the lack of use of seminars between employees in the organization in order to deliver Qkr Newbie. The main recommendations were: To highlight the importance of communication among members of administrative organization through formations and seminars relating to the organizational aspect, and also the work of training courses for workers in the field of telecommunications to keep pace with modern developments in the means of communication.
