Abstract

The current research has touched on the importance of performance in teaching departments of physical education and sports sciences for what university education institutions consider to be the highest educational summit in all countries of the world and this is of particular importance because it considers the institution the highest educational and educational value in the learning pyramid from kindergarten to university education.
The problem of the current research appears in the availability of quality standards for the teaching staff of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. My goal for the current research has been set, which is to define a list of necessary criteria for evaluating the performance of the teaching of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science, and to know the availability of quality standards of performance for the teaching of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The researchers used the descriptive approach as the most appropriate for the study in light of the research objectives and the results reached recommendations, including raising the level of teachers by the university or college by involving them in the developmental courses and programs for the teaching performance. And the need for the department to adopt comprehensive quality standards for all academic subjects. And setting encouraging prizes and rewards for outstanding and distinguished teachers to develop their performance in light of quality standards and university accreditation
