Abstract

The importance of this study lies in introducing a new method to develop mental and motor coordination in the research sample by using Swiss rubber balls in aerobics exercises accompanied by music, serving as a foundation to help women improve their coordination. The researcher observed a problem among the sample—weak motor coordination—which negatively impacted their performance and ultimately led them to withdraw from participating in physical activities, highlighting the need for this study. The sample consisted of 14 women from the Technical University, aged between 30 and 35 years, who had never previously participated in any form of physical activity and were purposefully selected. The researcher designed specific tests for the study and reached several conclusions, the most important being that the implementation of a training program accompanied by music had a positive effect on enhancing motor coordination, as reflected in significant improvements in post-test results. The use of training tools, such as Swiss rubber balls, acted as a motivating factor, helping participants quickly acquire and develop motor skills, while the music further enhanced coordination efficiency. Based on these findings, the researcher recommended using tools—especially Swiss rubber balls—to aid in developing motor coordination and emphasized the necessity for physical educators to involve participants in focused aerobics sessions
