Abstract
The strategy of "Knowledge Behind Cognitive" is considered one of the modern educational strategies and one of the most important factors for successful learning. It helps learners engage in self-learning and enhances their awareness, guiding them towards achieving their goals. This is accomplished through a series of steps that the student undertakes, such as acquiring knowledge, engaging in activities, and performing mental processes used before, during, and after the learning process. These processes include awareness of basic principles of the subject matter, planning the educational task that the learner will accomplish, followed by monitoring, redownloading, and adjusting these processes to successfully complete the task. Based on this, researchers have used the "Knowledge Behind Cognitive Strategy" to teach volleyball preparation skills due to its effectiveness in stimulating the learner's mind, which helps in easier acquisition, storage, and retrieval of information. Thus, the research problem arises from the fact that the methods followed in teaching volleyball do not include this important strategy, which would help the learner become an active and vital element in the educational process. Traditional learning methods, which rely on the direct transmission of knowledge from the teacher to the student, are used instead and lack the motivational aspects that generate the learners' interest. Therefore, this study used the "Knowledge Behind Cognitive Strategy" to contribute to the success and development of the educational process
