Abstract

The significance of this study lies in the application of pairing and re-grouping techniques in physical education classes to enhance training through increased interest and motivation. These techniques aim to improve and reinforce kinetic skills and physical qualifications. The study has two main objectives: 1) to identify the effect of pairing and re-grouping techniques on improving and re-enforcing the kinetic skills and physical qualifications of basketball players, and 2) to identify significant differences between the pre-tests and post-tests in relation to kinetic skills and physical qualifications in basketball attacks. The researchers hypothesized that statistically significant differences would exist between the pre- and post-test results, with the latter showing better outcomes, particularly for re-grouping techniques. The findings conclude that re-grouping positively affects the kinetic skills and physical qualifications of third-year intermediate basketball players in Iraq. The research ends with recommendations, including the suggestion to use pairing and re-grouping techniques in physical education classes to improve kinetic skills and physical qualifications for first-year intermediate basketball players in Iraq. Additionally, re-grouping is recommended for improving physical qualifications, while pairing is better suited for developing physical skills in basketball players.
