Abstract
There is no doubt that teaching air rifle shooting is of great importance, as it is considered one of the prominent shooting disciplines recognized internationally. Proper attention must be given to the early stages of skill acquisition in order to achieve progress and mastery. Skill learning depends largely on the use of diverse instructional methods that contribute to enhancing the educational process and motivating learners to exert greater effort through peer competition. Such an approach fosters positive engagement within the training sessions. Encouraging learners to compete based on achieving the best shots can serve as an effective motivational tool, enhancing performance and driving continuous improvement. Therefore, the significance of this study lies in examining the effect of using competitive teaching methods on the learning of air rifle shooting skills among beginner learners
