Abstract
The research problem has been identified as the lack of studies and research addressing modern training methods, as previous research indicates that the exercises used are insufficient to enhance the level of physical performance in the sample. Specifically, there was a lack of strength training in the participants' training sessions, which led to the implementation of a cross-training method. The study involved two groups (experimental and control) consisting of 20 young volleyball players, and the training curriculum was applied to both groups over a period of 8 weeks, with 3 training sessions per week. The researcher concluded that the training curriculum positively contributed to the development of strength characteristics, explosive speed, and that the experimental group showed more improvement in performing the spike skill compared to the control group.
