Abstract

The thesis, titled Kinds of Attack and Its Activity on Iraqi Sitting Volleyball Leagues, is structured into five chapters. Chapter One introduces the research, emphasizing the significance of offensive skills—such as the spike—in scoring points and determining match outcomes, particularly in Iraqi sitting volleyball. The study aims to (1) identify the most commonly used offensive techniques in elite Iraqi sitting volleyball leagues and (2) assess the impact of various offensive styles on match results. It hypothesizes that offensive pressure is concentrated on specific court zones and that fast attacks are the most effective. Chapter Two provides theoretical background and a redownload of related studies on offensive play. Chapter Three details the research methodology, where a descriptive survey approach was used, including sample selection, tools, a pilot study, and appropriate statistical methods. Chapter Four presents and analyzes the findings, showing that high attacks from zones 4 and 2 contributed the most, while medium back attacks had the least impact; rapid offense was shown to be more effective than other types. Finally, Chapter Five offers conclusions and recommendations, emphasizing the importance of understanding offensive factors—such as angles, distance, height, and speed—based on court dimensions, and encouraging the training of all players in offensive strategies rather than relying on just one or two individuals.
