Abstract
The study aimed to identify the effect of submaximal physical effort on blood pressure responses and certain heart function responses among female volleyball and athletics players. Specifically, it focused on two objectives: (1) to determine the impact of submaximal physical effort on blood pressure responses and (2) to examine its effect on heart functions, particularly stroke volume and cardiac output. The research sample included 12 female volleyball players and 8 female athletics players. Physiological tests were conducted after the participants were subjected to submaximal physical exertion, and appropriate statistical methods were applied to analyze the data. The researchers concluded that significant differences were observed in the systolic blood pressure responses between the two groups, as well as in stroke volume and cardiac output, indicating that submaximal effort produces varied cardiovascular responses in athletes from different sports.
