Abstract

The need for guidance is a complementary factor in the learning process. It enhances students' motivation to achieve their academic goals. The problem of the research lies in the fact that many students face difficulties in learning within the college of physical education. These difficulties negatively impact their learning and performance of skills. The researcher examined these difficulties based on a "Need for Guidance" scale, which was designed by the researcher because such a scale is not available in the field of physical education. The researcher thoroughly explored the concept of the need for guidance and the social-psychological theory applied in his research. Various statistical methods were employed to analyze the collected data. The study concluded that students at the College of Physical Education have a significant need for guidance
