Abstract
The study of momentary indicators during the start phase in the 100-meter race is a critical variable that significantly influences the outcome of the race, given the importance of this stage and its contribution to power production per unit time. This phase is directly correlated with the subsequent stages of the race and is crucial for the performance quality, explosive power, and maximum speed. The aim of the study is to identify the momentary indicators during the start and to analyze the foot conditions at the moment of the start. The research sample consisted of Iraqi and Arab champions in the 100-meter race from 2012. The study examined momentary indicators for each foot, the angle of performance at the start, angular velocity for each foot, and torque, using foot scanning and Kinovia software programs for analysis.
