Abstract
The study aimed to identify the personality traits and performance level of volleyball players, as well as to explore the relationship between personality traits and performance in volleyball. To achieve this, the study was conducted on a sample of 25 players, randomly selected through a lottery, all of whom were accredited by the Central Volleyball Federation. The sample represented 2.5% of the total population, a proportion deemed adequate for accurately and faithfully representing the research population. The researcher used Cattell's personality test and a performance level test for the players. The descriptive method was employed, which was suitable for the nature of the research, alongside statistical tools such as mean, standard deviation, percentage, and Pearson's simple correlation coefficient. The results showed that the majority of players performed at a good level, with 60% in this category, while 40% performed at an acceptable level. No players were found to perform at very weak or very good levels.
