Abstract
The research focused on football, which is one of the sports that requires speed in performance. The study aimed to develop a training program to improve the movement speed of some basic football skills (scoring, passing, dribbling) for youth players in Iraq, as well as to assess the impact of anaerobic physical and skill-based exercises on the development of movement speed. The researcher hypothesized that the training program would positively affect the results of the post-tests for the experimental group. The sample consisted of 20 youth players (19 years old and younger), who were divided into two groups: control and experimental. Based on the conclusions, the training program had a positive effect on the post-test results for the experimental group.
