Abstract
The aim of the research was to identify the key biomechanical and functional variables related to the skill of accuracy in futsal shooting and determine the contribution of these variables to the skill. The study was conducted on a random sample of 30 female students from the College of Physical Education, University of Diyala. The results showed a significant correlation between the biomechanical variables, including the angular velocity of the kicking foot during the collision and striking phases, and the speed of the ball’s launch. Additionally, a significant correlation was found between the functional variables, such as aerobic capacity and pulse rate at rest, with other findings also supporting these conclusions.
