Abstract
The skill of shooting from a jump is considered one of the important and challenging skills, especially when the distance is long. In such cases, the player must face the goal to allow freedom in shooting, which requires specific movements in various body parts to change the player's speed, thereby increasing the ball’s speed. This increase in ball speed is crucial for shooting in certain situations. Therefore, it is essential to move certain body parts to generate speed, which is transferred to the ball. The speed in shooting results from the transfer of motion from the lower limbs to the throwing arm, which increases the ball’s speed, while trying to minimize the effort over the shortest possible time, all of which are necessary for a successful shot.
