Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the impact of exploratory games with movement stories on developing intelligence in preschool children. The experimental method was used with two equivalent groups, employing both pre-test and post-test designs. The research sample was selected from the Applied Kindergarten of the College of Basic Education and Al-Nasreen Government Kindergarten, affiliated with the Rusafa Second Education Directorate for the year 2014. The total number of participants was 40 children, with 20 children in the experimental group and 20 children in the control group. After administering the pre-test for intelligence, the educational program, which included eight exploratory games with movement stories, was applied to the experimental group. The program consisted of 30 educational units, with 5 units per week over a period of 6 weeks. After the main experiment, the post-test was conducted, and the results were processed using appropriate statistical methods. The researcher concluded that the exploratory games with movement stories led to a significant improvement in developing intelligence. The researcher recommended using the program of exploratory games with movement stories for different age groups
