Abstract
The goalkeeper stands out from the rest of the team members as he is the last line of defense for the team and has a significant impact on the outcome of the match in favor of his team against the opposing team. This makes him play a crucial and essential role in achieving advanced and positive results for the team. Having a good goalkeeper helps instill confidence in the players, which highlights the importance of carefully selecting the player who occupies this position. Since reaction speed holds a distinguished place for the handball goalkeeper, and through observing and practicing this sport in indoor halls, the researcher noticed the scarcity of studies dealing with the biomechanical analysis of goalkeepers. This prompted the researcher to conduct an analytical study on the length and timing of the step and their relationship to reaction speed in defending against the 7-meter throw in handball goalkeepers.
