Abstract
The research objectives include identifying the aspect of job satisfaction among faculty members, as well as examining their professional loyalty and, consequently, understanding the relationship between job satisfaction and professional loyalty. As for the research hypotheses, there are statistically significant relationships between job satisfaction and professional loyalty among faculty members at the College of Physical Education and Sports Science for Women at the University of Baghdad. The research sample consisted of 60 faculty members. The researcher used two scales: the Job Satisfaction Scale, developed by Intisar Mohamed Taha Salama in 2003 for faculty members at the Palestinian University, consisting of five dimensions, with a total of 45 items, and the Professional Loyalty Scale, developed by Munir Ibrahim Ahmed Taleb in 2011 for workers in Palestinian universities, consisting of three dimensions, with a total of 25 items. The researcher adopted these two scales after redownloading them with experts and specialists, making the necessary adjustments. The results indicate that there is a statistically significant relationship between job satisfaction and professional loyalty among faculty members at the university.
