Abstract
It was mentioned to the production which included the role of measurement and assessment in the process of training in addition to the special physical abilities and their importance for handball player .The importance of the researchIt is to put criterion degrees and levels for the special physical abilities for the players of the specialized post to care the talented in Diyala at the age ( 12 – 14 ) years .The problem of the researchThe criterion degrees and levels for the physical abilities is not available in the specialized post to care the talented because of their recent foundation ; therefore , the problem of the research was arised . It is an attempt to fill the lack in this side and to get acquaintance with the physical level of these players .The objectives of the research1. Finding out criterion degrees for some special physical abilities for the players of the specialized post to care the talented in handball in Diyala .2. Finding out criterion levels for some special physical abilities for the players of the specialized post to care the talented in handball in Diyala .The researcher used the descriptive method by survey manner , and the sample of the research included the players of the specialized post to care the talented in the Ministry of Youth and Sport in Diyala at the age ( 12 – 14 ) years who are counted ( 60 ) players , and the field research procedures involved limitation of the special physical abilities including the following tests : ( Throwing a medical ball weighs Kg , Long jump from steadiness position , Running 20m from standing position , Bending the body forward from standing position ) .The most important conclusions1. The tests for some physical abilities are suitable for the level of the research sample .2. Most of the research sample were in the middle level .The most important recommendations1. There is a necessity to use tests during making tests to players in the specialized schoolsin the Ministry of Youth and Sport at the age ( 12 – 14 ) years .2. Using criterion degrees and levels for this study to assess the players in the specialized schools in the Ministry of Youth and Sport at the age ( 12 – 14 ) years .
