Abstract
Achieving good athletic results at a high level has become a defining feature of our modern era. This did not occur by chance, but rather as a result of utilizing scientific knowledge, research methods, and theories of sports training. The problem of the study lies in the fact that all rehabilitation programs in specialized centers rely solely on the experience of the treating physician from a purely medical perspective. Therefore, the researchers decided to develop a rehabilitation program using exercises based on modern scientific principles (PNF) to rehabilitate injuries of the lateral ligaments of the knee joint. This program was supported by both Arabic and international references and sources. The objectives of the research were: To design exercises using the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) method to rehabilitate partial injuries of the lateral ligaments of the knee joint. To identify the effect of these exercises on improving the range of motion and joint strength in basketball players with such injuries.
