Abstract
The study aimed to analyze the practical education period among male and female students of the Mathematics Education Department, with a total sample size of 135. The researcher employed a descriptive method through survey studies and used a questionnaire as the main data collection tool. The questionnaire covered four main axes: objectives, principles, roles of the student teacher, and evaluation of the nature of the practical education program. The study concluded several key findings, including the development of positive attitudes toward teaching, the preparation of a suitable environment for practical education to ensure quality outcomes, and recognizing the practical education period as an opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, and teaching experience. Furthermore, the study emphasized that the practical education plan should be comprehensive and integrated in terms of preparation, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation. It also recommended the importance of preparing a comprehensive practical education guide that includes objectives, programs, and evaluation methods.
