Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of shyness and the level of performance of some technical skills in volleyball , and to identify the relationship of shyness to the performance of some technical skills in volleyball among fourth-grade scientific students. The researcher used the descriptive research approach in the correlative method on a sample of fourth-grade scientific students from (12) Hariri Preparatory School for Girls, the number of which was randomly selected (a student of learners of volleyball skills was randomly selected) to conduct the scientific foundations and transactions of the shyness scale, which was represented by internal consistency 12). The stability was also selected after modifying its alternatives to five from four by the agreement of experts with apparent honesty and determining the sending skills instead of Monday until 1222/4/4 and the reception and the wall of the volleyball. The survey was conducted for the period from Wednesday to apply the scale and the three skill tests. The researcher concluded that the fourth female students were 1222/5/4 and the greater the shy the greater the negative impact, the scientist had a clear shy and a weakness in performing the three skills of the plane on the performance of the skills of sending, receiving and the wall of the volleyball.
