Abstract
The training process is no longer a random procedure where results are achieved by trial and error performed by the coach; rather, planning and organization by the training staff have become among the most important factors in achieving quantitative success. In the sports field, there are three crucial factors that play a vital role in sports training: the player, the curriculum, and the coach. These fields are interconnected, and none can be neglected. The research aimed to identify the essential competencies that strength game coaches must provide and to establish a ranking of training competencies for these coaches. The study included a methodology, sample, and data collection tools, followed by presentation, analysis, and discussion of the results. The researcher concluded that: the selected paragraphs represent the necessary competencies that strength game coaches must possess; the eighth paragraph ranked first regarding the planning axis; the eighth paragraph ranked first in managing the training unit axis; the third paragraph ranked first in presenting the training unit axis; the sixth paragraph ranked first in the motivation axis; and the fifth paragraph ranked first regarding personal characteristics.
