Abstract
The aim of the research was to determine the effect of the proposed educational program on acquiring some basic skills in goalball. The research sample consisted of players from Al-Tahadi Goalball Club in Baghdad. The researchers employed the experimental method due to its suitability for the nature and objectives of the study. The findings revealed: (1) no statistically significant differences in the acquisition of certain basic skills (such as targeted short shooting and goal shooting) between the experimental and control groups; (2) statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group in acquiring the skill of the throwing serve; and (3) the effectiveness of the mastery-based learning program in enhancing performance, as evidenced by an increased percentage of students achieving skill proficiency.
