Abstract
Physical abilities are fundamental traits that every athlete must possess, as they play a primary and essential role in developing and improving performance levels. Coaches have increasingly focused on developing athletes’ specific abilities through specialized training programs that include various exercises and modern training tools aimed at enhancing players’ physical capacities. This improvement is vital for executing dynamic and effective performance across different sports, with particular attention to skills such as high jump coordination and basic motor skills, which are considered among the most important for athletes’ final efforts in all movements. To achieve this, both coaches and athletes must optimally invest physical abilities such as strength and speed while considering biomechanical aspects related to the specific skill requirements to understand movement precision and properly evaluate it by applying appropriate solutions. Analyzing movement performance rather than relying solely on incomplete or faulty execution helps prevent errors and improve accuracy, thereby avoiding failure in skill correction. Progress should be rapid and driven with strong emphasis on correct positioning, supported by close-to-ideal examples, without exhausting the athlete’s acquired energy, while maintaining smooth and coordinated responses between the legs, arms, and ball during play.
