Abstract
The importance of this research lies in being a scientific study to evaluate students’ performance levels during competitions, such as current sports activities throughout the academic year. This study represents an opportunity for the university sports unit to assess the sports curricula based on indicators that reflect the success of sports programs at the university. The researcher noticed a problem related to the weakness in performing some basic skills by students, which negatively affects the course of matches and reduces students’ motivation to represent their colleges in university sports activities. This is a problem worthy of study and research. The research sample included students from the university of technology who practice various physical activities from different university colleges, representing a selected sample of 12 students chosen based on expert opinions. The research tool included specialized tests related to the study, which reached results showing significant differences between pre- and post-test results, confirming the effectiveness of the sports curriculum unit in improving students’ motor performance levels and smoothly achieving the sports curricula goals in the university of technology. The researcher emphasized the importance of increasing the number of sports programs for physical activities based on scientific foundations for non-specialized colleges and conducting similar research on samples specializing in sports training and students from different other games.
