Abstract

This research aims to explore the outputs of academic institutions and their role in student development, as well as to identify the challenges students face and the most effective solutions for overcoming them. The study found several factors affecting students' academic performance, including limited access to sports equipment (13%) and a lack of alignment between students' interests and ambitions (12%). It also highlighted the influence of media-related factors (19%) due to insufficient emphasis on the scientific and academic aspects of sports, as well as a lack of opportunities for talented students to participate in media platforms (8%), and the absence of media focus on positive, scientific, and cultural values (7%). The researcher recommends providing the necessary support to allocate sufficient resources to academic institutions and research equipment to promote scientific research. Additionally, it is advised to encourage the publication of scientific and media materials that highlight new discoveries and research findings to keep pace with scientific advancements, and to support sending professors abroad to expand their academic exposure.
