Abstract
The researcher used the descriptive method to identify the relationship between the explosive power of leg muscles and some basic components involved in executing a spike in volleyball, hypothesizing that a statistical relationship exists between these variables. The study included 20 first-class volleyball players as subjects. After conducting the tests, the results were analyzed statistically using mean, standard deviation, and correlation measures between the explosive power of the legs and the key aspects of spiking. The researcher concluded that there is a significant statistical relationship among all variables studied and recommended the necessity of applying scientific training methods to develop explosive power and physical fitness programs tailored to the team’s level, as well as conducting similar studies to explore the relationship between the explosive power of the arms, trunk, and legs and their impact on spiking performance
