Abstract

To evaluate any sport, two key factors can be considered: its popularity and the records achieved by its players. Beach volleyball stands out in both aspects, enjoying widespread popularity and notable achievements. This popularity has made it easier to access video footage of prominent matches. In a study aimed at enhancing the spiking skills of volleyball players, the researcher employed modern technology, including video and instructional films, as feedback tools. Using an experimental method, the study involved 40 volleyball players divided into three groups: 16 in the experimental group, 16 in the control group, and 8 in a pilot study. The training sessions were conducted from February 27 to April 20, 2008. The findings indicated that using video for visual and auditory feedback significantly improved the artistic performance of the control group. Based on these results, the researcher recommended incorporating continuous images and teaching videos during the main phase of training sessions to further enhance skill development.
