Abstract
The research problem focused on the low speed levels of fencers during the final stages of matches, prompting the researcher to develop speed endurance through match-like interval training exercises over nine weeks to assess their effects on motor and physical abilities in fencers aged 18 to 20. Twelve fencers, representing all three fencing weapons, were divided into two equal groups based on pre-test results of speed endurance. A series of tests measured relevant motor and physical skills before and after the training program. The data was statistically analyzed, leading to discussions, conclusions, and recommendations. Notably, all participants achieved first place in the Gifted Championship held in January 2010 for both saber and foil categories.
