Abstract
This chapter includes the introduction and the importance of the research, emphasizing that studies and experiments are among the key factors in achieving optimal performance. High jump, in particular, has benefited from such experiments, which helped identify the most critical elements that should be focused on to continuously improve performance levels. The researchers aimed to conduct a study to explore the relationship between the numerical level of achievement in high jump and each of the following: maximal strength, relative strength, speed-strength of the leg muscles, and movement speed. The study was conducted on a sample of fourth-year students to determine the impact of these variables on performance, with the goal of providing valuable insights for coaches to benefit from in practice as much as possible.
