Lateral thinking among students of the college of physical Education and sport sciences

Abstract

The current research objectives to identify the degree of positive thinking among students of Diyala University, as well as to identify the significance of the differences in the positive thinking variable according to the study stage of the research sample. And for the need for a measurement tool, the researcher built a test to measure positive thinking through the definition of de Bono, and the researcher verified the characteristics of the standard tool through the final application sample, which amounted to (252) students and by (102) students from the third stage and (150) students from the fourth stage . The sample was chosen by the stratified method, and after applying the research tool and analyzing the data statistically using the statistical bag (SPES), and through it the researcher found that the students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the third and fourth stage are characterized by a level of positive thinking based on the results reached by the researcher, Therefore, the researcher concluded that the research sample possesses a high degree of positive thinking, because the students were subjected to multiple tests and for various study subjects. By including educational situations that urge the use of positive thinking in different ways.
