Abstract

Basketball is one of the sports activities that have gained a distinguished position in all countries of the world as it is a good model for team games whose players are characterized by many physical, skill, functional, tactical and psychological capabilities, in addition to the constant readiness to act in every situation in order to achieve victory.  It also has a physical and educational return for the individual because of its comprehensiveness in movement and skill and the psychological, social, moral and other characteristics it instills in the individual, in addition to the fact that the methods of playing in basketball depend mainly on the physical, skill, functional and psychological capabilities of the players. The importance of the research lies in the preparation of competitive exercises on the enzyme (LDH) and some offensive skills of youth basketball players, as well as knowledge in the development of research variables.  Preparing competitive exercises on the extent of their influence in developing some skill and functional variables related to basketball on a sample of youth players in the Maysan sports team, as well as knowing the difference in developing research variables. And the researcher adopted the experimental method in one group with two tests, before and after, in order to suit the objectives of the research, as the research sample included (12 players) for one group, the players of the Maysan governorate team. As for the emergence of a development in the results of the post-test in the values   of the indicators of the enzyme acid dehydrogenase (LDH). The researcher concluded the emergence of a development in the results of the post-test in the values   of indicators: (acid dehydrogenase enzyme (LDH), improving the skill performance of basketball skills for youth, and an increase in the result. The researcher recommended working on building training curricula according to the biochemical bases of another sample, as well as knowing the experimental effect of it and the effect of the approach set by the coach on the players. The necessity of conducting tests for the enzyme dehydrogenase (LDH) every medium training circuit or every two medium circles to follow up on the health status of the players.  Basketball on for youth
