من خلال عمل الباحث كمعلم تربية رياضية في إحدى مدارس محافظة بابل، يلاحظ الباحث وجود ضعف في مشاركة الطالبات في المسابقات الرياضية التي تستضيفها الأنشطة الرياضية والمدرسية وهدف البحث الى اعداد مقـياسي المساندة الاجتماعية ودافعية المشارة في المنافــسات الرياضــية والكـشفية والـتعرف على واقعهما والـتعرف على الـفروق بينهما، والتـعرف على عـلاقة المســاندة الاجتــماعية وعلاقتها بدافعية المشاركة في المنافسات الرياضــية والكشفية فـي مركز محافـظه بابـل وتعتبر طالبــات المرحــلة الاعداديــة فـي محـــافظة بابـــل هم المجال البشري اما الـمجال الزمـني من 4/11/2022 الـى 11/5/2023 والمجـال المـكاني هو مدارس الاعدادية في مركز محـافظة بابـل و تم اتباع إجراء إيجاد مقياسي المساـندة الاجتــماعية والدافعية للمشاركة في الألعاب الرياضية والكشفية على عينة من طالبات مركز محافظة بابل باستخدام المنهج الوصفي، حيث تمثلت عينة البحث به (370) طالبة و تم التعرف على واقع المساندة الاجتماعية ودافعية المشاركة في المنافسات الرياضية لطالبات المرحلة الاعدادية في مركز محافظة بابل و توصل الباحث إلى وجود علاقة ارتـباطية بين دافعية المـشاركة فـي المنافسـات الرياضـة والمسـاندة الاجتـماعـية لطـالبات المـرحلة الاعدادية في مـركز محافــظة بابـل ختامـاً يـوصي الباحث بالإفادة من المقاييس و إجراء دارسات أخرى وضرورة تسليط الضوء على شريحة الطالبات.
