Abstract

The importance of the research was in studying the proportion of self- contribution of physical and skill in strictly defensive skills performance Volleyball, As the psychological aspect is one of the main requirements in a game of volleyball being a player qualifies for the performance of physical and kinetic aspects and skill appropriate rates, volleyball featured that it depends on the mental and emotional capacity to the extent depending on the physical and skill during the two aspects of the nervous and muscular player compatibility and the ability to adapt to different situations fast, The need for a sense of self-worth "of the most important needs that drive motivation to exercise it whenever the enjoyment of sports high confidently able to put the same targets commensurate with his abilities, so the possession sports make him feel self-worth the same confidence and be more effective in correcting his mistakes.

The research aimed to:-

  • Identify the level of skill and physical self-estimate accurately the performance of defensive skills among the research sample.
  • Identify the relationship between physical self and skill and accuracy skills defensive performance of the estimate research sample .
  • Identify the percentage contribution of self physical and skill accurately estimate the performance of defensive skills among the search sample.

      The researchers used the Descriptive approach and style survey relations connectivity appropriate nature of the problem at hand, the research sample was chosen on purpose, they are the players of Dyala university team of volleyball and they are (23 player) Spread over four stages of learning from the first to the fourth stage.

      In the light of statistical operations study concluded that there is weakness in the ratio between the measure of the contribution of physical and skill self-assessment defensive skills with accuracy in the search, the researchers came out with several recommendations, the most important.

  • attention to the development and enhance the removal of physical and skill self-assessment of the positive relationship with some elements of physical fitness or skill performance.
  • the attention to the psychological players like the other two aspects physical and skill
  • the need to raise interest in the development and performance skills using modern training methods level
