The effect of training in both static and dynamic strength on some offensive skills in handball: an experimental study on young players aged 17–18 years.
Abstract
The researcher addressed the importance of muscle strength in both its static and dynamic forms. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of static and dynamic strength on the development of some offensive skills in handball. The study sample consisted of a group of youth handball players from teams in Baghdad (Al-Azamiyah, Al-Karkh, and Al-Jaish). The training program included both static (isometric) and dynamic (isotonic) strength exercises. The researcher used a set of tests to measure both static and dynamic strength.
