Abstract

One of the modern training methods is the use of economical effort exercises, which primarily involve giving a set of exercises to players during matches, particularly in volleyball. These exercises are characterized by high intensity and short durations, relying on tactical drills performed alongside physical and skill-based activities, considering them an integral part of overall performance. This approach helps to increase the volleyball player's ability, as they are exposed to more than one match per week, especially during tournament gatherings or league matches. Consequently, this method of economic training benefits the player within a short time period, allowing for a focused and precise approach that also enhances recovery time for players.

Thus, modern sports training focuses on targeting objectives that develop energy production systems and the associated functional changes. The better an athlete’s anaerobic or aerobic capacity improves, the more directly it impacts their physical and skill performance levels. Therefore, training programs are designed based on scientific principles that align with the athlete's capabilities and the structural components of the training curriculum.
