A Study of Cultural Awareness Regarding Sports Practice Among High School Students in the Center of Babylon Governorate According to Gender and Academic Branch (Scientific, Literary)

The study aimed to:
- Develop a scale for cultural awareness regarding sports practice among middle school students in the central area of Babil Governorate.
- Identify the level of cultural awareness regarding sports practice among middle school students in the central area of Babil Governorate.
- Investigate the differences in cultural awareness regarding sports practice based on gender and scientific branch.
- Establish criteria for cultural awareness regarding sports practice among middle school students in the central area of Babil Governorate, according to gender and scientific branch.
The researchers adopted a descriptive approach using survey, comparative, and normative methods to achieve the study's objectives. The research community consisted of middle school students in the central area of Babil Governorate. After data collection, analysis, and discussion, the researchers concluded several findings, the most important of which was:
- Establishing criteria for the level of cultural awareness regarding sports practice among middle school students in the central area of Babil Governorate.
The researchers also made several recommendations, the most important of which was:
- Utilizing the results of the current study, particularly the measurement tool and criteria, to assess cultural awareness regarding sports practice among middle school students in other governorates.
