The research included four chapters.
Where the first chapter included the definition of research and introduction and the importance of research and the problem as well as the objectives of the research where the goal of the research to:
-the preparation of special educational units using the strategy of active learning in the manner of playing roles and stylistic participatory learning in learning some of the offensive motor skills basketball.
-to identify the effect of the use of active learning strategy according to the style of playing roles in learning some of the offensive motor skills in the basketball.
-to identify the impact of the use of active learning strategy according to the participatory learning method to learn some of the offensive motor skills in basketball.
-There is a preference for the effect of using active learning strategy according to one of the two methods to learn some of the offensive motor skills in basketball..
As well as the hypotheses of research and areas of research.
The second chapter included the methodology and procedures of the field research and the experimental method was used and included the community and the research sample which consisted of (40) students from the Department of Physical Education and Mathematical Sciences at Al-Farahidi University for the academic year 2017-2018. The researchers used the appropriate technical tests and discussed how to prepare the special educational units and to deal with the tests of the cage and the application of educational units using the strategy of active learning in the manner of playing roles as well as the method of participatory learning and conduct tests and the use of statistical means.
The third chapter included presentation and discussion of the results of the tests of the tribal and the results of the tests of the two experimental groups.
The fourth chapter included the conclusions and recommendations reached by the research, including.
-The use of active learning strategy in the manner of learning playing roles and participatory learning method leads to the improvement of the skill level of some of the skills of offensive basketball offensive.
-The first experimental group that used active learning to play roles on the second group, which used active learning in the style of participatory learning to learn some of the offensive skills basketball
