The Use of Special Exercises in the Style of (Horizontal Jump) and Its Effect on Some Physical Variables and the Numerical Level in the Triple Jump for Female Students

Special Exercises, Long Jump, Physical Variables, Numerical Level, Triple Jump for Female StudentsAbstract
The introduction of the study mentions that the triple jump is an event that involves various movements, heavily relying on physical aspects such as speed, explosive power, and speed-strength, in addition to the skill component, which is reflected in the smoothness of performance and the coordination of body movements, both on the ground and in the air. Therefore, the importance of this research lies in the researchers' attempt to use special exercises for the horizontal jump to improve certain physical variables and the numerical performance level in the triple jump for female students in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the College of Education for Girls at the University of Kufa. This is due to the physical weakness in strength and speed observed in the performance of the triple jump by second-year students, which requires addressing this weakness by introducing special exercises. These exercises are horizontal jump drills, as they are easy to apply and have a rapid, effective impact in addressing this weakness
