Psychophysiological Disorders and Their Relationship with Psychological Stability among Female Students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences
Keywords:
Psychophysiological disorders, Psychological stabilityAbstract
tudents of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, like other members of society, are affected by current events, in addition to the fact that first-year students are particularly affected by many performance obstacles in their practical lessons, as well as their need to keep up with their theoretical courses.
If we talk about students possibly suffering from some psychological and even physiological disorders due to the new environment and circumstances they are placed in, which may impose specific behavioral patterns to overcome various obstacles and achieve the required successes, then how much more so for female students who may not be sufficiently equipped to handle and adapt to everything required of them? They face difficulties in overcoming what they encounter, especially first-year students who may not have fully adapted (as we believe) to face the psychological challenges and achieve their goals in the best way.
Psychological and physiological disorders are among the negative symptoms we aim to highlight if they exist, and to what extent they appear in first-year female students. Moreover, there is a crucial variable that we hope these students will develop in order to achieve their aspirations: psychological stability.
Thus, the importance of studying the psychological and physiological (psychophysiological) disorders of first-year female students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences arises, as these disorders could hinder their performance and negatively impact their achievements. The significance also stems from studying an important variable, which we believe plays a role in confronting these disorders—psychological stability. Providing information about the clear relationship between psychophysiological disorders and psychological stability among the students is what makes the current research compelling and important to complete in order to reach the results intended by the researchers.
